Lucas Kasper is account manager for the food and beverage industry at BÈTA industrie. And he was happy to make some time for us today to answer the three most frequently asked questions about working at BÈTA.
1. What does your typical day at BÈTA industrie look like?
‘In the morning, I start my day with a coffee while visiting a customer, a distillery. I discuss with this customer what challenges operators at the company are coming up against in the filtration process. We go over the production process, filters, and their preferences at length.
I share BÈTA’s know-how and experience with similar applications, and then the customer and I head into the plant to see the filtration process in action. In the plant, I talk to workers and ask them about their experiences with the filters.
I analyse their current process filtration. I then discuss and agree on the next steps with the customer.
In the afternoon, I’m back at the office and discuss the interesting case with my colleagues right away.
Together, we explore various solutions and put together an action plan. I contact the customer to share the filtration solutions we’ve come up with, and then schedule the first test.
Alongside all of that, I have a great many phone calls with, among others, potential customers to schedule introductory meetings. Finally, I deal with quote requests by email and wrap up some work for ongoing filtration projects. And before you know it, it’s time to head home again.´
2. Why did you decide to join BÈTA industrie?
‘Because every day is different, and a learning experience at the same time. We make customers happy with made-to-measure filtration solutions. We solve their challenges and often save them money and improve their sustainability in the process.
As a dedicated top team, we never sit still. It’s truly “work hard, play hard” over here. Because we look for the best solutions for our customers and then hit the padel court after work.´
